Case Study - Network Consultancy



This organisation is a Managing Agent at Lloyds of London, with an estimated underwriting capacity for the 2001-year account of over £216 million. The organisation currently manages three Lloyd's syndicates and a branch office providing clients with a direct Lloyd's market in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia for Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers, Financial Institutions and Public/Products Liability insurance.

Networks Unlimited were requested to examine the network and ascertain the reasons for critical business applications failing and issues that restricted the mobility of 'hot-desk' workers. One of our highly qualified consultants worked closely with the customer to fully understand the nature of the issues being experienced. Using an extensive suite of network analysis tools and by following a detailed trouble shooting process our consultant was able to clearly demonstrate and provide evidence for the reported network failures.

A comprehensive report was supplied, detailing all issues found on the network and supplemented by appropriate recommendations for correction.
